KNEW Solutions Personal Development

WORKSHOP

Our workshops are interactive events where knowledge, skills and information are shared through intensive discussion and activities on a particular subject. Workshops can be used to build on previously learned information. They can last from a couple of hours to perhaps a few days, depending on the subject matter and related activities. 

Workshops have small audiences, or are broken up into smaller groups, because of the hands-on activities that are a part of learning in the workshop experience. Workshops may have several different activities that the attendees participate in. 

SEMINAR: Information, Education, and Questions Only

The seminar is structured like a lecture or classroom style of learning. In this respect, the lecturer, speaker or instructor will give a speech and share information with the audience about the chosen topic(s). Seminars are usually for much larger audiences because it simply consists of one of our expert sharing information with the audience on a specific topic.

A seminar format may only have the main lecture and there is no further follow-up activities or ways for the attendees to apply the knowledge they have learned during the seminar. Seminars tend to have a one-way street of communication.

One-on-One Coaching: 

One-on-one coaching/training sessions are a personalized approach that can often be the most valuable to individuals who need a personal touch or who learn at a slower pace. There is a great need for this type of coaching and not many consulting or training companies offer this service.
The effectiveness of one-on-one training sessions will allow the facilitator/coach to present very interactive sessions with the learner. Consequently, the facilitator will be able to concentrate on the individual’s specific needs pertaining to the subject matter. 

The individual’s goals will be more paramount. The coach/trainer can then slightly tailor the training examples or training method, to suit the individual’s needs. This will result in spending more time on processes that will be more relevant to the individual’s job, while spending only a short time on other, less-relevant areas.

TRAININGS:

Our trainings provide information, instruction, and hands-on activities to trainees. Essentially, we teach, develop skills, and knowledge during our training courses. The purpose of training is to improve one’s capability, capacity, productivity and performance for the subject area(s).

Training with our corporate partners, focuses on soft skills for the career field and work-related situations that will enhance job performance. This means providing participants will all the relevant information, skills, and resources to support job related functions in the workplace.
